Vocalist Rob Halford has revealed in an interview with Real Rock 99.3 radio that Judas Priest is going to rescue some old songs for the upcoming tour. The band will tour next to Uriah Heep, in the United States, between May and June.
“We’ve got between 12 and 15 songs that we’re trying out at rehearsals, songs like ‘Killing Machine’. I went into the studio and I thought, ‘What are they playing? I haven’t heard that for 30 years.” So we started playing it and the fans are loving it, I’m sure we’ll put it in the next repertoire,” Halford said at first.
The singer then quoted the songs that can be recovered for the upcoming shows of the band. They are: “Out in the Cold” (of “Turbo”, 1986), “Rapid Fire” (of British Steel, 1980), “The Sentinel” Take These) Chains “(from” Screaming For Vengeance “, 1982).
