In 2017 Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler came together for the last time to perform in their hometown of Birmingham, England. The show took place on February 4 and was eternalized with the release of The End DVD released in November of that year.
Now, Ozzy recalled the moment during an interview for SiriusXM revealing that it was exciting: “I did not expect to be thrilled, but I was. I’ve been with them for ten years. I’ve been solo for 40 years and I’ve played with amazing people all my career. ”
The musician took the opportunity to reaffirm that his farewell tour is not a sign of retirement: “I will still do shows, I will not go on tour,” he says.
