The announcement was made by the band in an interview Howard Stern (Transcribed by Rock and Roll Garage). Paul Stanley said: “(The shows at Madison Square Garden) are the last two shows of the band. We’re finishing up were we started. I believe there are 17 shows before that in the States. Look, some people kind of snickered and said ‘oh this end of the road has gone for years’. Yeah, we lost two years and a half for Covid.”

“We would have been done already. So yes, this is the end. When you come to see the show it’s awesome. It’s the most high-tech show out there and yeah, it’s clearly a kick-ass Rock and Roll show. It is not Vegas, it’s not something that looses it balls, so to speak. It’s everything Kiss amped up and ramped up. So look, we’ve giving it everything we have.”

The band’s bassist and singer Gene Simmons also talked on Howard Stern about the last show saying that he will cry like a kid during the last concert.

The final concerts of the group will happen in 2023 in the United States from October to December. But before, the band will play one last time from April to July in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway.

I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
